MANCHESTER PRODUCTS is a wholesale distribution company serving the Canadian garden, gift and pet industry. Our state of the art warehouse is 53,000 square feet all with 38’ clear ceiling height. We have 12 docks for efficient inbound and outbound movement of inventory making it easier for trucks to get in and out quickly. We operate RF Pathways warehouse management system which allows us to pick orders faster and better track inventory from the time it hits our door to the time the products arrive at your door. Everything we do is done so that we can better serve you, our customer.
ALL PET DISTRIBUTORS INC. and MANCHESTER PRODUCTS were please to announce the merger of the two companies on January 5, 2010. The new company MANCHESTER PRODUCTS operates from the Manchester warehouse in Cambridge.
The merger has added 350 pet and farm store accounts to our business.
MANCHESTER PRODUCTS launched a brand new website in 2009. We have made a number of changes to the site this September. You are now able to see the Pet categories separate from the garden categories. We have also added a button “News & Updates” where you can see the latest Manchester news, supplier updates and any ongoing promotions. Many of our customers are now ordering on line. When you place an order on line your order stays in history and may be used to make future orders from the website.
MANCHESTER PRODUCTS is strategically located to serve all the major markets in Canada. We service over 1600 hardware, garden centre, gift and pet outlets with 9 sales representatives looking after Ontario, 3 sales representatives looking after Quebec and New Brunswick and 1 sales representative looking after Nova Scotia, PEI and Newfoundland.

DELIVERY: ONTARIO; Minimum order for prepaid delivery is $500.00. Orders less than $500.00 will have a $25.00 fee applied.
QUÉBEC (Abitibi, Lac St-Jean, Côte Nord, Gaspésie) : Minimum order for prepaid delivery is $1000.00. Orders less than $1000.00 will have a $40.00 fee applied.
QUÉBEC (all other regions): Minimum order for prepaid delivery is $750.00. Orders less than $750.00 will have a $40.00 fee applied.
MARITIMES (NB, PEI, NS); Minimum order for prepaid delivery is $1000.00. Orders less than $1000.00 will have a $40.00 fee applied.
NEWFOUNDLAND & WEST OF ONTARIO: All orders will be shipped with freight added to the order with a 5% freight allowance.
TAILGATE SERVICE; Tailgate service is available at a surcharge of $30.00 per shipment. Tailgate service must be requested at time of placing order.
RETURNS: No returns will be accepted unless previously authorized by the salesperson. A return authorization form must accompany the goods and each piece should be tagged with your company name. Drivers will not pick-up product for return unless previously authorized. If merchandise is authorized for return and credit, a service charge of 20% may be assessed for items that are not defective or are priced. Defective products covered under a manufacturers warranty must be accompanied by the consumers cash register receipt. No returns will be accepted on cross-docks, direct ship and special orders.
DAMAGES & SHORTAGES: When any damages occur in shipment, they MUST be recorded on the driver’s signature slip. Problems with shipments must be reported to our office within 48 hours. Customers should only sign for product received. (ie. If the delivery slip says 4 pieces and you only receive 3 pieces then make sure you only sign for 3 pieces) Failure to do so may result in no credit being issued.
TERMS: All early deliveries are due May 1, 2012. Deliveries April through November are due Net 30 days. Manchester also accepts payment by Visa or MasterCard. C.O.D. customers must pay by Visa or MasterCard before the order is shipped. HST is extra.
EARLY PAY DISCOUNTS: Pay by December 31, 2011 less 5%. Pay by January 31, 2012 less 4%. Pay by February 29, 2012 less 3%. Pay by March 30, 2012 less 2%.
HST, QUEBEC SALES TAX, and PESTICIDE LICENSE: HST is charged on all orders in Ontario, British Columbia , Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland. We require a Quebec sales tax number upon completion of a credit application. We require an up-to-date Pesticide license number (if required). In Ontario to be able to sell class 7 pest control products you must have a Limited Vendor License starting January 1, 2010. Class 8 products are banned in Ontario. No license is required to sell class 6 products.
